What is A2 Ghee?
Regular ghee is made from milk that contains a mix of A1 and A2 beta-casein proteins. A2 ghee is made exclusively from the milk of A2 cows — specifically Gir cows or native Indian breeds — which produce milk containing only A2 protein.
Why does this matter? Research suggests that A1 protein can be harder to digest and may cause inflammation in some people, while A2 protein is gentler, closer to human breast milk, and easier on the gut.
What is the Bilona Method?
